Dear Sherrie,

I hope this communication finds you well, happy, and enjoying the beautiful transition from summer to fall.

One transition I've experienced is joining a new gym facility. For years I've enjoyed "working out" (nothing serious, mind you; "buff" isn't in my universe, but I enjoy the physical levels of a bicep curl here, a sit-up there).

Anyway, there's a guy at my new gym who I really admire. His speech is slurred, his sight is blurry, but he's there every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You see, this man had a brain tumor. Seven years ago it was removed, and he lost the use of the entire left side of his body. He didn't walk for 4 years, but he worked and worked and worked to rebuild the brain connections and his strength. He's been coming to our gym for 3 years now and, although he does it slowly, he hits just about every machine they've got on the circuit. Wow.

He updates me on how many reps he's done, and how many laps in the pool or on the track. He shares with a bliss for being alive that brightens my day. He gives his living all he's got, and his persistence and enthusiasm reminds me to live up to the example.

May you enjoy your journey and having your phenomenal physical body every day. You are here on this planet for a reason, and it wouldn't be the same without you.

Coming up for the holidays. . .

Pet Healing Clinic; Saturday, December 1st,
11:00 - 2:00 PM Our pets are great friends and companions. Just like people, pets can encounter energy that is foreign to who they are as spirit. A pet healing is an aura and chakra clearing for your pet, and can assist your pet in maintaining its health, vitality, and enthusiasm. Our healers work directly with your pet or they can work with a picture. Healings generally take about 10 or 15 minutes.

Christ Force Healing Seminar; Tuesday, December 11th, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Open to graduates of our Psychic Awareness Program or comparable studies. Facilitated by Paul Miller. $25. Paul writes, "Come and enjoy a night of giving and receiving healings and set your space for the holiday season. Come whether or not you have had Christ Force healings or classes before. The first part of the evening will be in meditation and getting in touch with the Christ Force energy. Then, we will go over the Christ Force healing technique and give and receive. There should be plenty of Yuletide bliss for everyone and then some."

Meditation Tune-up; Tuesday, December 18th,
6:30 - 9:00 PM. Reset your tools, add to your meditation skill set, and get your questions answered about grounding and running your energy. Open to everyone who has taken our Meditation For Living class. Facilitated by Lauren Skye. $35.

Out With The Old, In With The New; Friday, December 21st, 6:30 - 9:00 PM. Use basic energy techniques to integrate your experiences in 2007 and set your experience of 2008. Open to everyone who has taken our Meditation For Living class. Facilitated by Lauren Skye. $35.
