Yesterday, Ed G. Perlmutter made renewable energy history by voting for important energy tax incentives. The bill that passed in the House* will take billions of dollars in tax handouts away from oil and gas companies and invest them in low-carbon energy industries such as wind, solar, biomass, and geothermal. It also extends consumer tax credits, making it easier and cheaper for you to make your home more energy efficient or to purchase a hybrid vehicle.

Please help us keep Congress on track by sending a quick email to say thanks -- and to encourage Ed G. Perlmutter to keep voting for a clean energy future that creates hundreds of thousands of new jobs at home while also helping us fight global warming.
